Reduction of building opening hours & optimization of space opening
Beschreibung der Massnahme
Starting October 2022 we reduced the daily opening hours of the Procter & Gamble Geneva Campus (approx. 1800 employees) by one hour. In addition, on Fridays we optimize the space to open only two of 6 floors.

With both measures we have confirmed energy use reduction by 12% by less heating, ventilation and lighting, all without any significant impact on the business.

Light optimization
Beschreibung der Massnahme
Effective November 2022 we strategically permanently disconnected 1400 lights (roughly 10%) across the Procter & Gamble Geneva Campus, without any negative impact & remaining well within legal limits of workplace luminosity. All lights were already changed to LED back in 2017 / 2018.

Temperature setpoint reduction
Beschreibung der Massnahme
Reduction of the temperature setpoint in the Procter & Gamble Geneva Campus for the winter half-year to 20c vs. previously 22.5c.
Beschreibung der anvisierten Wirkung
Reduction in energy use for heating of the building. With this change and the mild weather in October/November, we managed to not need to heat the building until mid-November 2022.
